Kintype Database

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Kinmunity is collecting information for a Kintype database. Please respond with your kintype if you wish to contribute, noting the following rules.

  1. Be as specific as possible, when it comes down to species and subspecies.
    • ex. Naia is a "British Columbia Wolf", not a "wolf", "grey wolf", or "canine"

[*]Do not include additional information, such as fur color, markings, etc.

[*]Ensure the words used specifically describe your kintype.

This will eventually be added to a database for reference. :)

Can we list fictotypes as well, or is it all categorized as fictionkin?

That's a good question! I think so, I feel like 'kin type' is a general class of alter-human, and therefor include therian/otherkin/fiction-kin/spiritual/technology/plant/what-have-you all equally.

Shard or partial incarnation of Horus. To be more specific about aspect, Americanized post-Kemet version running along the Heru-sa-Aset line, with a fair amount of abstract primordial essence thrown into the mix, along with a therian grade affinity for red tailed hawks (Buteo jamaicensis).

Neil Gaiman and American Gods guessed right, but I don't call myself fictionkin. I am not that character, it just resembles me a bit.

Eurasian wolf (Canis lupus lupus)

“There is grandeur in this view of life, with its several powers, having been originally breathed into a few forms or into one; and that, whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been, and are being, evolved.”  ― Charles Darwin, The Origin of Species

[...](Should I include headmates? If so they're all in my signature. Sam is a fictive from Supernatural)

Hmm good question! In relation to personal identity, head-mates being inherent to such, I think they should be valid to attribute.
