Okay first of all, I love most of those on that list (those that I don't I just don't know). Total classic rocker but also Broadway fan (mostly Hamilton by "Gay or European" from the Legally Blonde musical is hilarious fire). I occasionally listen to Ghost, some scene bands (especially Paramore, Evanescence, Three Doors Down, Green Day, and Linkin Park) but mostly jam out to classics.

I like heavy beats, mentions of Satan and demons and obscenity in lyrics.

I love deep sounds / vocals and growling.

Deep sounds / vocals:

Today was a bad day, but this beautiful growling made me a bit happier:

Seriously, why can't normal human voices sound like that? Why can't babies scream in a very low pitch instead of a very high pitch? Why can't children's voices be deep? Cause especially when I'm having a bad day, these small changes would make this world so much more tolerable for me!

Am I in the wrong plane of existence? Cause my energy is so dark and demonic... I believe that I would feel overall happier if I were with Satan, among demons and in Hell. At least then the outside world reflects what is inside of me.

Me in this world:

Looks funny, right? But this "energetic" contrast between me vs. the outside world can be very irritating for me, most of the time when I'm in a bad mood already.

Favourite band for life is Dimmu Borgir.

Other bands I like are Ghost, Powerwolf and ASP.

I have already posted about my musical preferences here:

Okay but Rachmaninoff is one of my favorite composers. At the San Antonio Symphony they had a famous violin soloist come to play one of his pieces

ALSO

Holy crap how have I forgotten to tell y'all about this

A drum symphony by Stewart Copeland (the drummer for The Police). I can't remember which one but it was SO COOL

Andrew Lloyd Webber's 50th birthday party was certainly something to behold...oh what a circus, oh what a show! Don't you get me wrong, it was absolutely stunning - from Donnie Osmond and his affectionate treatment of the children's chorus, to Antonio Banderas, and his star turns both as Che, and as the Phantom. Sarah Brightman, as always, just blows one away with her sheer beauty and presence, not to mention a dynamite set of pipes. I also was totally mesmerized by the staging, done on a giant ribbon of what looked like staff lines from sheet music, all in black and white. The cast, which was composed of singers and dancers ranging from 8 on up, was also adorned in black and white, making the whole staging visually stunning. The Hosanna set, from both Superstar and Requiem was moving and beautiful. Marcus Lovett struts his way through Superstar with tight black jeans, long flowing hair and muscle shirt.

For me, the high point of the concert is when Michael Ball steps on stage to sing Love Changes Everything, which has become a standard in just a few short years. The entire cast joins him onstage for this one, which serves as sort of a grand finale, even though there's another song after it.

I will always love anything that comes from Sir Andrew, and this DVD is no exception. It is beautifully sung and staged, and is a must have for any fan.

I honestly have no favorite or preferred artists, only songs - and a bunch of different kinds. Demons (ID), I'm Still Standing (EJ), Animals (M5), Fireworks (KP), Hall of Fame (TS), and If I Die Young (TBP) are my top six, the ones I can listen to over and over and over again without getting sick of them. I'm also fond of 2 Steps From Hell.

I do not have a favourite artist, or even a favourite genre. I have a very specific taste in music which makes it rather difficult to find new music.

Some of my favourite songs at the moment though...

- Rob the Banker (by Lyre Le Temps). Song about robbing a bank.

- My Bad Alice (by Jenova Collective). Song about Alice hiding because she's about to get murdered.

- Glass Casket (by Mystery Skulls). Wanting to be seen as death in a glass casket.

- Voracity (by Myth & Roid). This song is another language, I don't know what it's about. But it has a lot of demonic "I'm hungry" vibes.

Anyone notice a trend? hah

- PiSk Swing (by Robert Edwards, Little Violet, Pisk). An upbeat funky sad swing.

- Pumpkin Party in Sea Hitler's Water Apocalypse (by Cement City). Sad upbeat electronic instrumental that shakes my core.

My all time favourite though...

- Lay Down (by Caravan Palace). My comfort song about going to hell. :')

[iCODE]I'm gonna (lay down)

Get sick and I can't (lay down)

My soul is bound, (lay down)

Get sick and I can't, my soul is bound for hell

I'm gonna (lay down)

Can't get to heaven I'm gonna sing, (lay down)

Can't be nobody for to (lay down)

Fall on my knees and begin

Can't be nobody for to turn me out[/iCODE]

My favorite genre is experimental pop and my favorite artist of all time is Kate Bush. Her music was way ahead of its time and all of her songs tell unique stories. She has a special place in my heart.

A close second is Animal Collective. Their unique and strange sound feels like what my thoughts feel like. That's the only way to describe it.

A few other artists I like: Lady Gaga, Passion Pit, WHY?, Lana Del Rey, Superorganism, Glass Animals, Everything Everything, Fall Out Boy, Purity Ring. This is by no means a complete list, but if I kept at it this post would be as long as my arm.

I've been listening to more punk music recently. I like The Clash.

My dad raised me on punk rock and other types of alternative music, and it is great to get back into it. Now I actually understand the lyrics. It is great to have a deeper understanding. I love it more now.

I've also been listening to more 80's music. Unsurprisingly, I'm drawn to the UK bands and alternative scene, especially from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. This isn't very intentional. It just happens.

A good portion of my spotify makes me look like a "born in the wrong generation" kid.
