Emails (Including Activation Emails)

We are investigating an email deliverability issue effecting multiple users, especially users of Outlook.com, hotmail.com, and other Microsoft email providers. During our investigation, we have discovered the following information:

  • Anti-Spam provider "UCEPROTECTL3" lists all IP addresses delegated to OVH's ASN number.
    • When UCEPROTECTL3 lists entire AS numbers, it operates as an extortion racket. There is no appeal for single IP addresses or CIDR ranges, except paying exorbitant amounts of money to be listed on [plain]whitelisted.org[/plain]. Kinmunity will not be intimidated or extorted by draconian hardline blacklisting policies.

[*]Due to this listing, some email providers will send our mail to the Spam folder. Please check your spam folder for Kinmunity emails before filing a support ticket, chances are, that's where the email will be. Help us out by marking it as "Not Spam" in webmail applications such as Gmail!

[*]Email provider Outlook.com (and associated Microsoft domains) instituted a block of unknown scope, preventing our emails from being delivered. After originally being denied mitigation, we requested a manual review by Outlook.com's deliverability team and were assured the block would be removed within forty-eight hours.

For avoidance of doubt, Kinmunity does not send spam. Our mail server requires authentication in order to send outgoing mail, and we use industry-standard authentication methods such as: DKIM, SPF, & DMARC in order to allow a mail server to tell the difference between a legitimate email from us and a spoofed email. If you receive unwanted mail from Kinmunity, you may take the following actions:

  • Use the "Unsubscribe" link found in the bottom of your email.
  • Contact us to investigate the email's origin.

Thank you!
