Changing the way donations work...

Recommended Posts

Users can now donate to specific goals on the site, rather than one single donation pool. This helps us (and our users) track where money is going, and it also helps users pay to improve the site in ways that matter to them. The following donation drives are available to donate to:

  • Monthly hosting - This drive resets every month, and is used to pay the monthly server bill.
  • Yearly Framework license - This drive resets every year, and is used to pay the yearly Xenforo license bill.
  • Yearly Maintenance - This drive resets every year, and is used to pay for site add-ons, and for our domain names.
  • Feature Addition: Sub Accounts / Plural Support (one time) - This drive is one-time and funds the new feature to enable plural system support across the site.
  • General Fund - This drive is always active and does not have a goal, funds deposited into it are used for a combination of all of the above, and to thank our staff team!

If you like the site, please consider donating!

Having the costs run down in bite sized forms really helps too, makes it seem like a less daunting goal and motivates more people to donate!

That’s the idea. It also gives people the control to prioritize work on what matters to them.
